We are people of different countries, faiths and races living in harmony and friendship. We work together and try to learn the secret of fellowship and peace. We hope our lives may be more useful and this spirit of helpfulness will enrich the province in which we live to the greater glory of God"

Statistics is the branch of science which deals with methods used in the collection, presentation, analysis and interpretation of data. It can be used in virtually every field of study and research ? economics, the natural sciences, medicine, business studies, for example.

At Edwardes College statistics is taught at Intermediate and degree levels (both BA and BSc). It is also an integral part of Computer Science, Higher National and MBA courses. The collection and analysis of statistical data form part of the syllabi of both the University of Peshawar courses and those of the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE). Statistics occupies a separate section in the library, and there are plans to set up a statistics laboratory in 2008.
