The Faculty of Science (Intermediate) courses lead to a qualification equal to “A” level, which is accepted by professional colleges for admission purposes. The majority of Edwardes students undertake these courses prior to entering a university degree. The Intermediate Faculty of Arts (FA) courses can be undertaken in two years. The main subject are Statistics, Economics, Civics, English Elective, Political Science, Urdu Elective, Islamic Education, History, and Pakistan Studies. These can lead on to BA courses for two years (or possibly BCS) for another two years. Here the choice of subjects is broader – possible combination include law, economics and history. Intermediate FA students are not permitted to do the BSc degree.
